Introduction

iTech Lab’s Principal Consultants have tested and certified a large number of online poker systems including the world’s largest online Poker system. Our testing ensures that the games and tournaments are fair and the system is reliable and resilient.

Poker System Testing

Testing of Poker system is conducted as per iTech Labs standards. A high level description of the standards is available at http://www.itechlabs.com.au/gaming/iTech_Labs_IGS_Standards.pdf. The main areas covered are the following:

• RNG testing to confirm that cards are random and fair (see more details about RNG testing at URL).
• Game rules are evaluated to verify that gameplay is as per the rules.
• Functional testing of games and tournaments - includes testing for correct game operation, controlled testing of games and tournaments, verification of game logs, testing of game interruptions etc.
• Evaluation of collusion detection and prevention mechanisms.
• Verification of essential system reports – performance reports for games and tournaments, player reports, payment reports.

What are the deliverables for Poker system testing?

While testing is in progress:

• Regular testing progress report with percentage progress for each module,
• A list of outstanding faults, and a fault severity indication for each
• Any issues related to testing

On completion of testing:

• A report outlining briefly the evaluation conducted and the results of that evaluation,
• A certification seal to be placed on the gaming site, and
• A linked certificate indicating compliance with the tests carried out. The original certificate is maintained on the iTech Labs web site so authenticity can be verified
